§ VI — The record

The privacy sheet is
short for a reason.

An app that never opens a connection has nothing to send. Most of this page is therefore a list of things that do not happen, and the architecture is the only reason we can write it that way.

Why there is so little to declare

Hush is operated by Ruzylo Cloud, LLC. For a product like this one, privacy is not a policy section — it is a consequence of how the sound is made. Because every sound is synthesized on your device rather than streamed from a catalogue, the app has no reason to contact us while you use it, and it does not. There is no request log of your nights at our end, because no request is ever made.

Your mixes and settings: we never have them

Everything you put into the Hush app — your saved mixes, the levels you balanced them at, your timer and fade settings, and what you played last night — is stored only on your device, behind your device passcode and Face ID or Touch ID. There is no Hush account, no cloud sync, and no server holding a copy.

We cannot read, recover, export, or hand over any of it, because it never touches infrastructure we operate. That is not a promise about our intentions; it is a limit on what we are able to do.

What we do collect

  • Your email address — only if you write yourself into the register on this site. Used once, to tell you the app has shipped. It is the only personal data our servers hold.
  • Payment information — handled by the App Store (Apple) or by our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
  • Standard server logs for this website — IP address, user-agent and request path, kept no longer than thirty days for security and debugging.

What we do not do

  • No analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or tracker inside the app — and no network call from it at all while it plays.
  • No selling, renting, or sharing of personal data, at any price and to anybody.
  • No reading of the bedtime calculator on this site: it runs entirely in your browser, and the times you type are never transmitted.
  • No profile of your sleep. We do not know what you played, how long for, or what hour you were awake, and there is nowhere for us to look it up.

Children

Hush is built and written for adults, and the register is not for anyone under 13. Guidance for infant sleep is its own subject with its own rules — keep any sound source well away from a crib and conservative in volume, and take that advice from a paediatrician rather than from us.

What happens if we shut down

Nothing, to the app. It works offline and depends on no server of ours, so it keeps playing whether this company exists or not. The register would be deleted; the sound on your phone would not notice.

Your rights

Ask us to delete your register entry at any time at [email protected] and we will, promptly and without asking why. For everything inside the app, deletion is already in your hands: remove the app, or clear the mixes and settings in Settings. There is no server copy for us to delete on your behalf.

Changes

If this sheet changes we will update it and the effective date at its head. We will not weaken the on-device promise, because it is not a policy choice — it is the shape of the product.
